This painting is a larger, more subdued version of an earlier painting which was a finalist at Lethbridge Small Scale Art prize and sold in 2023. I wanted to create a simple, peaceful imagined landscape that everyone can recognise and can appreciate. It comes with a natural oak frame for a finished, polished look.

Inspired by an old photo of an anonymous kid from the 50s, I wanted to recreate a nostalgic piece that we can all relate to. I love playing around with colour harmony and making marks.
