This painting is part of my “New Beginnings” series. It is made up of many layers of thin washes of black ink, acrylic paint and iridescent copper acrylic ink for the highlights. I then made markings with charcoal and pencil. I wanted to create a calming nature painting with a limited palette. Please see the images provided to see the details. The iridescent ink shimmers differently when viewed from different angles. The painting will be shipped without a frame in a strong mailing tube.
