This artwork is a 30.5 x 25.4 cm oil painting on mixed media paper, primed with gesso. Cold wax medium was used to create textures and thicken the paint.

Although I might have drawn inspiration from the sky as viewed from my window as I painted this in my home studio.

Using mostly a wedge tool to add and subtract paint layers, smearing and blending paints much like abstract artists do, I put my focus on composition, colour harmony and textures to tell the story.
